All window films are not created equal. Your basic film known as *Dye Film* is what most common everyday stereo & tint type shops use on every car they tint. This entry level film will usually begin to bubble, turn purple, haze and even peel in as little as one year after installation. These jobs range from $100 to $175 on average, not only is this an eyesore but a future safety issue and financial loss when looking to correct it. When correcting this type of installation you can spend an additional $50 to $150 for removal of this film plus the cost or re-tinting your vehicle. In some severe cases where the low cost films’ adhesive have fused with a rear glass defroster lines the need to replace the glass can be costly. The end result is dissatisfaction and financial loss of your original tint investment.
